“E energija” starts construction of 300 MW wind farm in Kelmė district

The park will first consist of two wind turbines with a maximum capacity of 9 MW, one each in the villages of Tilviki and Beržėnai II, and will be equipped with Cypress wind turbines manufactured by General Electric by the second quarter of 2023.

According to the project owners, the electricity generated by the plants will be enough for around 19,000 households.

The project is being financed by Citadele Bank, which provided a EUR 10.5 million loan, and the investment fund Equity United. Viconus has been chosen as the construction manager, while Merko statyba, Stiemo, AR10 and General Electric Lithuania are the contractors.
